Posters have diverse uses ranging from advertising and event promotion, to public service announcements to engage, inform and motivate.

Learn to apply the principals of composition and design to achieve unity, balance and rhythm to make your posters stand out.

5. Advertising Design

Advertising is an art that involves the creation of exquisitely crafted message. When done right, it can change minds, set trends, and touch lives. It includes a good understanding of business and factors that make consumers act.

Students will learn how to apply business, the four major advertising tones and design principles in the advertising field.

6. Magazine and Publication Design

There is a magazine, book or booklet to suit any interest, passion or pursuit.

Though readers always seek information, its good design that makes that information clear and attractive.

Students will learn the process of creating a layout, examining how text and images are combined on magazine covers and inner spreads to keep readers interested and keep them reading.
